Informatica MDM is the system of record for an enterprise's most important entity data: who its customers, patients, members, citizens, HCPs, and HCOs are; what its products, SKUs, and BOMs are; who its suppliers and counterparties are; what its locations, accounts, and contracts are; and how those entities relate.
Informatica was founded in 1993; the MDM line traces to the 2010 Siperian acquisition and the earlier Heiler (PIM, 2012) and Identity Systems (identity resolution) acquisitions, giving Informatica MDM a 15+ year heritage as a packaged on-prem hub.
