There is no unified Porch Group API. ISN publishes REST and JSON APIs gated to customer accounts, and Floify offers an open REST API behind a partner agreement; Rynoh, PalmTech, iRoofing, and the consumer products have no public API at all.
Porch scores F on the API Report Card. There is no unified Porch Group API. ISN publishes REST and JSON APIs gated to customer accounts, and Floify offers an open REST API behind a partner agreement; Rynoh, PalmTech, iRoofing, and the consumer products have no public API at all.
Without a usable official API, teams fall back on manual exports, file drops, or one-off vendor integrations. The other option is an unofficial API layer like Supergood that automates the authenticated web app directly.
Porch Group, Inc.
Primary Supergood vertical: Insurance (homeowners insurance, warranty, reciprocal exchange), with substantial overlap into Property Management / PropTech (Porch Home App, moving), Construction (iRoofing for roofing contractors), Real Estate / Settlement (Rynoh for title and escrow), Financial Services (Floify for mortgage POS / brokers / lenders), and Home Inspection (ISN, PalmTech). Consumer (porch.com): a homeowner books moving labor, gets a quote for HOAIC home insurance or Porch Warranty, uses the Porch Home App for appliance recall notices, seasonal maintenance reminders, claim filing, and access to discounted handyman services and moving vouchers.
Very high inside each underlying SaaS vertical, modest as a consumer brand. ISN is reported by Porch Group to be used in roughly half of all U.S. home inspections in 2025, making it the dominant US home-inspection SaaS.
Across the holding company, Porch sits on the operational nervous system of multiple vertical industries: ISN holds scheduling, inspection agreements, inspector and client records, payment history, full inspection reports and photos, and franchise/multi-office hierarchies for roughly half of U.S. home inspections; PalmTech holds the inspection-report writeups themselves.
Mixed. Porch Group itself went public via SPAC in December 2020 (PropTech Acquisition Corp) and has assembled most of its software portfolio via acquisition.
ISN API requires an active ISN customer account plus credentials issued out-of-band by ISN operations; no self-serve developer signup. ISN REST and JSON APIs live on separate hostnames (api.inspectionsupport.net vs. json.inspectionsupport.net) with overlapping but distinct surfaces, forcing integrators to reconcile two documentation sets. Grades measure one thing: can a customer's engineering team get their own data out programmatically? We check six things (whether a real API exists, how access is gated, data coverage, auth quality, docs and developer experience, and stability) and roll them into a letter grade. Grades get re-verified, and they only move on evidence.
