Calyx exposes Point through a licensed .NET SDK that must be activated by emailing a key token to Calyx, plus Fannie Mae 3.2 and MISMO 3.4 file exports. Path advertises an API but publishes no reference, and vendors pay Calyx integration fees. No OAuth, sandbox or developer portal exists.
Calyx Software scores D+ on Supergood's API Report Card.
Without a usable official API, teams fall back on manual exports, file drops, or one-off vendor integrations. The other option is an unofficial API layer like Supergood that automates the authenticated web app directly. Site terms may apply to any integration approach, and how they apply is a determination each team makes for itself.
Calyx Software is one of the oldest names in US mortgage origination technology.
Mortgage brokers and small to mid size independent lenders (Point, Zenly, Zip), with Path and PointCentral aimed at community banks, credit unions and mortgage bankers that need multi branch control, compliance tooling and a browser based system. Brokers and loan officers take the application in Point or Zip, run credit, pull pricing from LoanSifter, Optimal Blue, Lender Price or Mortech, run DU or LPA, and generate the Loan Estimate and disclosures.
Calyx's homepage invites visitors to join 50,000 plus loan and mortgage professionals using its software, and the company has claimed tens of thousands of Point users for two decades; third party guides describe Point as the go to LOS for brokers and small lenders and cite connections with 200 plus vendor partners.
Point and Path hold the brokerage's or lender's entire loan file: borrower PII and the 1003, credit reports, income and asset documents, AUS findings, pricing and lock data, fees, Loan Estimates and Closing Disclosures, conditions, lender submission history and closing packages, plus the cardex contact database that brokers use for repeat business.
Point is a mid 1990s Windows application that still installs under C:\WINPOINT and requires .NET Framework 4.8, Windows 10 or 11 and Microsoft Edge; reviewers describe its interface as unchanged since 2004.
A broker in charge (September 2021) said Point was unable to interface well with most vendors including Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae and LoanSifter, and that asset data was wiped when running AUS or importing credit after the 1003 change. A loan officer assistant (October 2022) said some Calyx integrations were not properly mapped, which forced manual work on forms and disclosures that should have been automated. Supergood's grades measure one thing: can a customer's engineering team get their own data out programmatically? Supergood checks six things (whether a real API exists, how access is gated, data coverage, auth quality, docs and developer experience, and stability) and rolls them into a letter grade. Supergood re-verifies grades, and they only move on evidence.
Not that we could find. As of November 2026 there is no official Calyx Software MCP server in any public registry, and no maintained community server we're aware of. We re-verify this periodically — report an inaccuracy below if we missed one.
Not natively. Calyx Software doesn't publish an MCP server, so MCP clients like Claude, Cursor, and Codex have nothing to connect to out of the box. If that changes, this page will reflect it.
