Faire's External API v2 is a narrow sync pipe: 40 self-serve OAuth operations that push a brand's orders, inventory, products and prices and nothing else. No search, no webhooks, no payouts or analytics, no client libraries, no sandbox, and retailers get no programmatic access at all.
Faire scores D on Supergood's API Report Card.
Without a usable official API, teams fall back on manual exports, file drops, or one-off vendor integrations. The other option is an unofficial API layer like Supergood that automates the authenticated web app directly. Site terms may apply to any integration approach, and how they apply is a determination each team makes for itself.
Faire (Faire Wholesale, Inc., San Francisco, founded 2017) is an online wholesale marketplace where independent retailers buy inventory from brands.
Retail & Ecommerce. Brands list wholesale catalogs, set case packs and minimums, accept or backorder incoming retailer orders, print packing slips, add shipment tracking and receive payouts net of commission.
Faire states over 100,000 brands and hundreds of thousands of retailers in 70,000+ cities, $8B+ in cumulative brand sales, nearly $3B GMV in 2025 with eight consecutive quarters of accelerating growth, and a $5.2B valuation.
For a brand, Faire holds the wholesale order book: retailer orders and their states, backorders, shipments and tracking, payout costs, commissions and fees, wholesale and retail prices per region, on hand, committed and available inventory per variant, catalog content, product reviews and the list of stockist retailers.
Launched in 2017, Faire is a modern cloud marketplace with native iOS and Android apps for retailers, AI ranked search and AI generated listing improvements, and an advertising business above 5 percent of revenue.
Faire exposes no inbound webhooks, so integrators schedule order polling every few minutes with a cursor high water mark. Faire publishes no numeric request rate; the API answers with HTTP 429 and integrations must queue and retry, and paging without a cursor falls back to rate limited offset pagination. Supergood's grades measure one thing: can a customer's engineering team get their own data out programmatically? Supergood checks six things (whether a real API exists, how access is gated, data coverage, auth quality, docs and developer experience, and stability) and rolls them into a letter grade. Supergood re-verifies grades, and they only move on evidence.
Not that we could find. As of October 2026 there is no official Faire MCP server in any public registry, and no maintained community server we're aware of. We re-verify this periodically — report an inaccuracy below if we missed one.
Not natively. Faire doesn't publish an MCP server, so MCP clients like Claude, Cursor, and Codex have nothing to connect to out of the box. If that changes, this page will reflect it.
