API access is fully gated behind manual approval, developers must already be a GolfNow account holder and be approved before receiving client credentials, slowing or blocking experimentation. GolfNow markets only a 'basic workbench' and minimal public documentation, and direct partner support is described as limited outside of the formal affiliate program.
