Procentive's only API is an ONC-mandated SMART on FHIR server with read-only USCDI data. Only Ensora admins can register a client app, no sandbox or SDK exists, and the vendor reported zero third-party apps connected in 2025.
Procentive scores D on Supergood's API Report Card. Procentive's only API is an ONC-mandated SMART on FHIR server with read-only USCDI data. Only Ensora admins can register a client app, no sandbox or SDK exists, and the vendor reported zero third-party apps connected in 2025.
Without a usable official API, teams fall back on manual exports, file drops, or one-off vendor integrations. The other option is an unofficial API layer like Supergood that automates the authenticated web app directly. Site terms may apply to any integration approach, and how they apply is a determination each team makes for itself.
Procentive is a cloud practice management, EHR and billing platform for behavioral health agencies: counseling offices, mental health clinics, substance use treatment centers and county programs.
Healthcare: behavioral health, mental health and substance use disorder treatment agencies. Clinicians chart intakes, treatment plans and progress notes in the Clinical Charting module, schedulers manage appointments, and billers run the Time, Billing, Payments and ERA modules to submit Medicaid and commercial claims and post remittances.
Procentive reported well over 100 agency customers in 2013 and Ensora markets it as trusted by thousands of providers, but review volume is thin (five Software Advice reviews, a handful on G2) and Ensora no longer lists it on its products page.
Client demographics and insurance, diagnoses, treatment plans, progress notes, group notes, assessments, ePrescriptions, bed census, appointments, time and billing records, 837 claims, ERA remittances, payments and statements.
Founded 1999 and an early SaaS in its niche; the web application still runs at app.procentive.com and reviewers describe the interface as utilitarian and dated.
Long-time agency customer reports extremely poor customer service and weeks-long response times since the Therapy Brands acquisition. Reviewer says there are often bugs and information can be hard to locate. Full sourced list under Sources below.

Supergood's grades measure one thing: can a customer's engineering team get their own data out programmatically? Supergood checks six things (whether a real API exists, how access is gated, data coverage, auth quality, docs and developer experience, and stability) and rolls them into a letter grade. Supergood re-verifies grades, and they only move on evidence.
Not that we could find. There is no official Procentive MCP server in any public registry, and no maintained community server we're aware of. We re-verify this periodically — report an inaccuracy below if we missed one.
Not natively. Procentive doesn't publish an MCP server, so MCP clients like Claude, Cursor, and Codex have nothing to connect to out of the box. If that changes, this page will reflect it.
